Hydrostatic Pump

Quick and Easy Waterline Pressure Test

Pressurizing a waterline system to 200psi is a simple task using the Hydro Booster. Set your cordless drill to reverse to draw water from your water source into the Hydro Booster then set your drill to forward to pressurize the system.

When most of the air has been removed, 400 feet of 3/4″ waterline can be pressurized to 200 psi with a single pass. The included Hydro Booster dual check valve allows the Hydro Booster to be filled then injected into the waterline system as many times as necessary.

Filling the Hydro Booster can be accomplished using a bucket or small container of water. If available, you can also connect a pressurized garden hose to the inlet of the dual check valve.

Important

Do not use a hammer drill or impact drill to operate the Hydro Booster. The constant hammering action can damage the Hydro Booster’s bearings.

Hydro Booster Dual Check Valve

The Hydro Booster Dual Check Valve allows for continuous back and forth action with your cordless drill making pressurizing of larger waterline systems quick and easy.

Drill Set To Reverse

With your drill in reverse, the Hydro Booster plunger draws water from your water source (a container of water or a garden hose under city pressure). The dual check valve allows no pressure to be released from the waterline system.

Drill Set to Forward

When the plunger has reached the back of the Hydro Booster labelled “STOP HERE” you switch your drill to forward to push the water into waterline system pressurizing it. The dual check valve allows no pressure to go back into the fill source forcing all pressure into the waterline system.
